With first-hand knowledge of digital photography practices, we know the mechanics of color management to build a great file, and how to maintain the most information from RGB capture to your final CMYK output. Alternately, if you decide you'd rather have an edition proof generated from your file not intended for press output, we're experienced in paper selection and treatment of final files to ensure archival quality. While we may not look the part of scientists, we've got ink in our veins and color computers in our heads to ensure every image meets your needs.

The fact that we're trained aesthetes. from diverse backgrounds in the Visual Arts: painting, illustration, photography, 3D graphics - you might get the impression that the finer points of color science are beyond our grasp. However, this is where the rubber meets the road for us, and where our skills really begin to shine. As a subsidiary of Quad/Graphics, we have access to proprietary soft proofing and output color profiles based on press specifications, to ensure that the proofs that you recieve from BlueSoho will set a new standard for accuracy. We use state-of-the-art Eizo displays for our retouching areas, 5000K lighting at desktop and our customer markup areas, as well as the newest technology from Epson and Kodak for digital output.
